Community Health wants to be friends on Facebook.
Every day this month, which is National
Counseling Awareness Month, the agency will post on its Facebook page
information about mental health, including motivational videos, tips from
doctors, and healthy recipes.
"It's also an
opportunity for people to connect with us and learn about how to relieve stress
and deal with stress, where are the resources you can be looking to for
depression and anxiety," says Dell Anderson, director of behavioral services.
The National alliance on Mental Illness says one in four adults will
experience some type of mental health issue this year.
