RICHLAND, Wash. - Do you want to be part of a discussion for the community, by the community?
TriConf is a conference highlighting technology, design and entrepreneurship in the Tri-Cities. It's taking place this week at the Richland Public Library.
Participants nominate each other to lead sessions and the final schedule for the two day conference is voted on by everyone.
The conference includes interactive tutorials, group discussions and presentations on various topics.
"Majority of the people that are going to be presenting here are people you find in your community...they're our neighbors, friends and they are brilliant, talented and creative," said Jenn Turner, a co-organizer for TriConf.
If you'd like to attend the 2013 TriConf gets underway Tuesday at 5 p.m. at the Richland Public Library on Swift Boulevard. Nominations on what will be discussed at the conference begin at 7 p.m. and the event continues on July 19th- 20th.
